- I have an old A2500 which uses the A2091 SCSI card. It currently has two
- internal
- hard disks. I recently purchased an external SCSI-2 CDROM that I was
- planning on
- plugging into the external SCSI port. The problem is that the system
- won't work
- with the CDROM plugged in. Symptoms are typical of incorrectly
- terminated bus.
- The A2091 documents seem to indicate that the last drive of the internal
- chain and
- the last drive of the external chain need termination. The internal
- chain should
- be fine since it's been running o.k. for years. The CDROM drive is set
- to use
- termination (though I've tried it both ways). Does anyone have any
- suggestions?
- I'm a little puzzled. Please email to: lofaso@arlut.utexas.edu as I
- don't normally
- read this newsgroup. Thanks.
